Otto López, born on October 1, 1998, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is a professional baseball infielder for the Miami Marlins. He moved to Montreal, Canada, during his youth and later returned to the Dominican Republic to train for baseball. López signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent in 2016 and made his MLB debut in 2021. 

He played for the Blue Jays from 2021 to 2023, recording a .263 batting average with 4 home runs and 32 RBIs. In 2024, he was traded to the San Francisco Giants and then claimed off waivers by the Marlins, where he played 12 games with a .400 average, 2 home runs, and 6 RBIs. López also represented Canada in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
